🤖 AI-ASSISTED RESEARCH NOTE (Human reviewed)
"Based on publicly available data, the off-exchange accumulation pattern in the $415-$420 range, coinciding with Goldman's upgrade and historically low implied volatility, suggests institutional positioning ahead of Q3 earnings. With 94% analyst Buy consensus and a median target implying 37-42% upside, the stock appears mispriced at current levels relative to its fundamental trajectory."
⭐ PRO: SIGNAL INTERPRETATION — WHAT THE DATA SUGGESTS
"The institutional thesis appears to be a classic mean-reversion-into-catalyst play. When a company with Azure's structural growth trajectory trades 22% below its 52-week high despite zero Sell ratings and $655 analyst targets, the asymmetry becomes compelling for large allocators who can hold through earnings volatility. The dark pool accumulation in the $415-420 range suggests funds treated the recent drawdown as an entry point rather than a warning signal..."

⚠ IMPORTANT DISCLOSURE — READ BEFORE REVIEWING
These are simulated hypothetical ideas, not real published picks. WhaleQuorum launched in April 2026. The ideas below represent what our scoring system would have flagged based on publicly available data that existed at those dates — applying our current methodology retroactively. Prices shown are approximate closing prices. Hypothetical results do not reflect actual outcomes, do not account for transaction costs, and do not guarantee future results.

Intel showed dark pool accumulation but lacked multi-signal convergence — no options confirmation, no congressional activity. Single-signal ideas on structurally declining companies carry significantly higher risk. This is why our scoring requires a minimum of 2 converging signal types.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Everything you want to know.
What exactly is WhaleQuorum?+
WhaleQuorum is a weekly research newsletter that aggregates and interprets publicly available institutional market data — off-exchange dark pool prints, congressional STOCK Act disclosures, unusual options activity, and institutional 13F filings — using AI-assisted analysis with mandatory human review. Every Sunday at 6PM ET we publish our top 3 research ideas. This is educational research, not investment advice.
Is this investment advice? Are you a registered financial adviser?+
No and no. WhaleQuorum is not a registered investment adviser and does not provide personalized investment advice. We are a financial research newsletter operating under the publisher exemption of the Investment Advisers Act of 1940. Everything we publish is for informational and educational purposes only. You are solely responsible for your own investment decisions. Always consult a licensed financial professional.
Where does the data come from?+
We aggregate four independent publicly available data sources: (1) FINRA Alternative Trading System (ATS) data for off-exchange dark pool activity, (2) STOCK Act congressional trade disclosures from the SEC, (3) options market flow data tracking unusual premium activity, and (4) SEC 13F quarterly institutional position filings. All of these are public records. We interpret and score them — we do not create or manufacture any data. Perplexity Sonar provides live web research context per idea.
How does AI work in the process? Does AI make the picks?+
No — AI never decides which stocks to include. The confidence score is computed by a deterministic algorithm with fixed rules — same data always produces the same score. AI is used two ways: Perplexity Sonar searches the live web for earnings context and analyst notes, and Claude writes the plain-English explanation. A human editor then reads every report before it publishes and can edit or reject any idea. The human is the editor, not the AI.
What do I get on Free vs Pro?+
Free subscribers receive the #1 ranked research idea every Sunday at 6PM ET — the complete report including signal breakdown, AI analysis, price target, and key risk. It is the full report, not a teaser. Pro subscribers ($49/month) receive all three research ideas with complete analysis, plus live alerts when significant dark pool prints, congressional disclosures, or options sweeps are detected. The full historical database is also accessible to Pro subscribers.
What does "price at time of report" mean?+
Every research idea shows the stock's price at the moment the report was published — Sunday at 6PM ET. This is important for transparency: it lets you see exactly what price the analysis was based on, track how the idea has performed since publication, and evaluate the accuracy of our price targets. We do not retroactively change entry prices. What you see is what was published.
What are dark pools and why do they matter?+
Dark pools are private trading venues where institutional investors execute large block trades away from public exchanges. According to FINRA data, approximately 40-45% of all US equity trading volume flows through dark pools. Institutions use them to avoid moving prices against themselves when building large positions. When we detect a $200M+ dark pool print in a single stock, it indicates a fund deliberately accumulating a position. This data is public (FINRA reports it) but requires sophisticated interpretation to use effectively.
Can I cancel? Is there a money-back guarantee?+
Yes and yes. You can cancel your Pro subscription at any time — no questions asked. We also offer a 7-day money-back guarantee on your first month. If you are not satisfied for any reason within 7 days of your first payment, email support@whalequorum.com and we will refund you in full. No proof required.
Next report publishes Sunday 6PM ET.
